Tuesday, 23rd January saw our first speaker event of 2019!

The Public Bubble was lucky enough to host Dr. Lucy Easthope, a Senior Fellow at the Cabinet Office Emergency Planning College and the Chair of the UK Emergency Planning Society’s Education Committee.

Dr. Easthope spoke about her experiences in the sector, including her work with Local Authorities after the Manchester Arena attack and Grenfell Tower, and also about working with Government to plan for significant events on a national scale, including Brexit.

There was a great turn-out and lots of interesting questions from our audience!
